A Barrhead-area woman with a lengthy history of speeding offences has been handed a significant penalty after being caught driving at nearly double the speed limit on Highway 33.
During a December 13 session at the Barrhead Court of Justice, Justice Bruce Garriock imposed a $2,000 fine and a 21-day driving suspension on Stephanie Dawn Sebastian. The decision followed her guilty plea to exceeding the posted speed limit.
