Tyler McCoy. January 13th, 2025.
It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to Tyler McCoy, who passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2025. Tyler was a cherished member of the Lac Ste. Anne community, and if you’ve lived here for the past 17 years, there’s a very good chance you’ve crossed paths with him, his wife Kelly, or his parents, Kevin and Barb McCoy.
Tyler was dedicated to serving others, volunteering as a firefighter and always giving his time to community events such as parades, Sno-Mo Days, Darwell Ag-Drag, Onoway Ball, Soccer, and many others. His passion for helping others was only matched by his unwavering commitment to his family and friends.
Tyler’s greatest wish was for his wife Kelly to stay home and raise their four children, a wish he worked tirelessly to make a reality. Now, in the wake of his sudden passing, Kelly and their children are facing an incredibly difficult time as they navigate this new chapter in their lives.
In honor of Tyler’s generosity and kindness, we hope his memory will continue to inspire us all. A trust account has been set up to assist Kelly with funeral costs and any other expenses that may arise during this challenging time. If you are able to contribute, your support would be greatly appreciated.
Donations can be made at any ATB branch or sent via e-transfer to kellymccoy089@gmail.com. Your kindness means the world to the McCoy family as they begin this difficult journey.
Rest in peace, Tyler. You will forever be remembered, and your legacy of love, service, and community will live on in all of us.
