The County seeks Seasonal Summer Program Leaders for our Community Services Department. This is a seasonal part time position for approximately 8 weeks, from June 30 to approximately August 29, 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide input into the planning details for each program, including but not limited to, itinerary, crafts, activities, games and any other requirements.
• Provide onsite operations and delivery of programming, including set up/clean up, activity delivery and supervision of participants.
• Ensure the safety of all participants.
• Assist with the promotion and evaluation of all programs.
• Maintain a positive relationship with all participants, their parent(s)/guardian(s) (which applicable), and the public.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of same.

Job Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR training would be considered an asset.
• Clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector search will be required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license, and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience working with children and youth would be an asset.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Must be friendly and approachable.
• Must be prepared to take a leadership role.
• Must be creative, enthusiastic, and energetic.

Term: June 30 – August 29, 2025 approx. 8 Weeks working approximately 3 days per week
Start date: June 30, 2025

Salary: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour.
