Fort McMurray RCMP Looking for Help Identifying Two Suspects in Home Invasion

Two men are wanted in connection with a home invasion that occurred in the late evening hours of February 10th

Details remain unclear as to exactly what happened in an apartment in Fort McMurray on the night of February 10th, but RCMP have now released descriptions and details of two intruders who broke into a residence on the 200 block of Lougheed Drive while the occupants were home.  The home invasion resulted in two of the occupants in the apartment receiving non-life threatening injuries after a confrontation with the suspects.

RCMP were not initially notified of the event, and only became aware of what had happened when performing a wellness check on the suite on the afternoon of February 11th.    Upon arrival at that location, Wood Buffalo RCMP noticed evidence of a break and enter as the front door to the apartment was damaged and were able to make contact with the residents as well as confirmed their wellbeing.

During the course of the investigation, responding officers determined that the night prior, between 11:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m., at least two unknown persons wearing masks broke into the residence where there were multiple people home at the time.

RCMP learned an occupant of the home confronted the two intruders and an altercation ensured resulting in the injuries to two residents of the apartment.   Shortly after the confrontation, two suspects fled the scene.
