A serious accident during the annual Alberta Beach Snowmobile Days festival on Lac Ste Anne has claimed the life of one man after the sled he was driving suddenly accelerated and collided with a parked truck. Investigators believe a malfunction in the throttle caused the snowmobile to lose control. 41 year old Michael Moore from Sherwood Park has been confirmed the man killed in the accident.
